EarthScience Initiatives Launches

On the 9 January 2012, our new joint venture company EarthScience Initiatives (ESI) officially launched into the Australian market. ESI brings together the civil engineering department of Winward Structures with the water science department of CJ Arms & Associates to form a new, boutique-style practice, providing a wide range of creative civil and water-based engineering services for the commercial building industry and the mining and infrastructure sectors across the country.

ESI is located at 494 La Trobe Street, Melbourne and will also operate from the new WS Perth office. General Manager Daniel Couton and his team will provide a range of services including: 

• Water treatment and sustainability 
• WSUD and civil engineering 
• Mining – water treatment and civil engineering 
• Councils and Water Boards – stormwater / waste water treatment and reuse 
• Wetlands – passive waste water treatment 
• Infrastructure – housing divisions
• Commercial construction projects
